As a keen runner and founder of this website I obviously keep an eye out for just about every development that comes along in running. Being a bit of a gadget man I also have just about every electronic gadget to map and time my runs.

I recently came across the Mid Foot Strike and in particular the NEWTON Shoe. I have been following it with some scepticism and have tried to follow as much detail as possible on the subject with a view to being able to offer Joggingbuddy members an insight into whats going on out there. From the ?science? out there I can see how this Mid Foot Strike process makes perfect sense. I have contacted the company to try and get hold of a paid of their shoes so that I can try them out and give you a personal view point on not only the shoes but the running style change too.
